The cold winds of despair gettin' you down? Crunchie crunchie credit crunchy munching at your happiness? Nasty Nick running amok in Eastenders, Isrealis running amok in Gaza, M&S is even in trouble. But what of my thermal vest and quality stockings I hear you ask! Well, it's time to cast aside yer winter miserabilities for the aural wollen underwear that is Saturday Night Beaver!!!

Yes, the ultimate rock'n'roll sweat fest returns for the new year with a temporary new home! Resident perv-rockers, The Fabulous Penetrators return with their street hassle and sonic hot sauce to warm yer cockles. We have a special suprise in the shape of our next act, so special that we can't even name our Secret Special Guests (Baskery, aber nicht weitersagen), due to record label complications. All I can say is 'Hot, Hot, Hot! Like Soca Man!'

Spinning records on the night will be the muscle behind the night, all the way from beautiful Beverungen, Germany: The Stag-O-Lee Allstars, and from delightful Dalston, The Bear Family playing the usual Dance-Craze Rhythm'n'Blues, 60's Soul, Garage Rock'n'Roll, Ska, Calypso, Punk Rawk, Exotica, Cumbia, Swing and Gary Glitter 'til 4am!

Monkey Man, Go-Go Nuts is also due an appearance with his famous Simian Themed Selection, as well as other friends and foes dropping by throughout the evening.

And if that wasn't enough to whup you into a frenzy, The Laundrettas will be crazying up the room with their band of no-nonsense S&M-lite.
